WA: Missing ski paddler found safe on Rottnest Island
PERTH, Dec 10 AAP - A surf skier believed missing off a popular Perth beach has been
found at Rottnest Island, about 18km off the coastline.
WA Police spokeswoman Ros Weatherall said the 58-year-old man had paddled his surf
ski from Sorrento beach, in the city's north-west, to the island.
A sea and air search was sparked after the man was reported missing after he failed
to return to his car, which was parked at the Sorrento surf club.
