WA: Woman killed in head-on crash on freeway
PERTH, Dec 11 AAP - A woman has died in a head-on collision between her car and a utility
truck which may have been driving the wrong way on Perth's main freeway.
Police said it was believed a 26-year-old man was driving the wrong way on the Kwinana
Freeway near the Canning Highway turnoff when his car collided with the woman's Nissan
Pulsar driving the other way at 11pm (WDT) yesterday.
The 26-year-old woman died at the scene, and the man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital
with minor injuries.
Major crash officers were investigating whether alcohol played a role in the crash.
Police were appealing for witnesses.
