Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan, and writer-director Nora Ephron know just howto mix the comedy and sentiment. This warm, clever confection playsmore like their "Sleepless in Seattle" than like the update it is of"The Shop Around the Corner." Ryan and Hanks (above) woo on theInternet, unaware that he's behind the voracious chain out to devourher book shop. A bit prefab, but the faults are overridden by thecharm and appeal of the leads.
